Promoting the historical and architectural heritage of Friar Gate Bridge.
New For 2018
A Free Presentation for Interested Groups
Is your group, society or organisation looking for an interesting and informative presentation about one of Derby's most loved (and neglected) historic structures?
The presentation includes the history of the bridge, why it was originally built and the Derby based foundry which created it. Most importantly it describes how The Friends of Friar Gate Bridge are working with The City Council, Heritage Architects and The Heritage Lottery Fund to secure funding for a complete restoration of the bridge to bring it back into some form of public use.
One of our members, Peter Mosley is available to bring the presentation to your meeting place, so if you are interested please contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details with some preferred dates and times he will then contact you to arrange an event.
